Misson Statement
Our Story
Our story begins on Earth Day 2017. A few people with fond childhood memories of Jefferson St. Park decided to organize a cleanup on April 22nd 2017. The cleanup had a positive response by the community and more people became involved. The community donated time, resources and money to our cause, and with a lot of hard work, the park started to transform to the old glory days. On August 19th, the park hosted a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, which was the first event held at the park in over 20 years. The efforts didn’t stop at just Jefferson St. Park We also held cleanups at “The Simpson Star” and “Monkey Run Park”. We are in the infant stages of the finished product. We received a grant that will help improvements. Please help us keep the momentum to make our community a great place to spend time.
